Kevin Durant

The Phoenix Suns are planning on giving their newly acquired star Kevin Durant a road debut against the Charlotte Hornets next week.

Kevin Durant has been injured since January and has not played since then, having missed eight weeks of action. His last game came in their win against the Miami Heat back in January. Since then, a lot has happened to him and to his team. After Kyrie Irving requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets in January and was later traded, it was clear that Durant’s time as a Brooklyn Net was over.

He eventually got traded to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Mikail Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, and more draft compensation. He is yet to make his debut as a Phoenix Sun player, as he also missed the All-Star game this past weekend.

According to Shams, who is a senior reporter with the Athletics, he reported that the former MVP, finals MVP, and two-time NBA champion was planning to make his debut next week against the Hornets during the Suns’ road trip in the NBA.
