Kylian Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent once his contract expires.
Mbappe has now informed PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he will be leaving the team this summer, although it may still be months before an official announcement is made. While the specifics of his departure are still up for discussion, it is widely acknowledged that his seven-year stay in Paris will likely come to an end.
Mbappe, who had apparently been expected to join Real Madrid, signed a two-year deal with PSG in the summer of 2022. It’s thought he gave President Florentino Perez a personal call to let him know he was going to stay at PSG.
