Liverpool will be aiming at extending the lead to five points when they travel to Gtech Community Stadium in Saturday’s 12.30pm lunchtime kick off.

The Reds defeated Burnely 3-1 last weekend at Anfield to regain first position while the Bees defeated Wolves 2-0 to move away from the relegation position, but the Bees recently have been out of form as they have only managed two wins out six games compared to Liverpool who have won five out six.

In the first leg at Anfield Liverpool stroll to a 3-0 victory, but the Bees have taken five points from six against the Reds during their Gtech Community Stadium clashes, and neither of these clubs has registered an away win over the other during the Premier League era.

The Bees will be without Rico Henry, Bryan Mbeumo, Kevin Schade, Aaron Hickey, Josh Dasilva and Mathias Jensen while the Reds will be without Alexander Arnold, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Dominic Szoboszla, who are all out with injuries.

With Mo Salah returning after recovering from an injury he suffered during the African Cup Of Nations, Liverpool have received a major boost that will see them get the maximum points at the Gtech Community Stadium.
