Manchester City dropped points in the title race as they drew 1-1 with Chelsea.

Nicolas Jackson had a glorious chance to give Chelsea the lead but was brilliantly saved by Ederson. Haaland had a chance on the other side, but his header sailed wide off the post. Raheem Sterling then gave the visitors the lead against his former club after a glorious pass by Jackson, and they went on to halftime leading 1-0.

In the second half, Manchester City kept on putting pressure on Chelsea, with Haaland being wasteful in front of goal and Petrovic making good saves to deny him. Rodri eventually got the goal to give the city the leveller after a deflection on the way in. Christopher Nkunku had a chance, on the other hand, for Chelsea, but his effort was blocked by Ruben Dias.

Manchester City will play against Brentford next in the Premier League, while Chelsea will play Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
