Lakers star Lebron James has been ruled out indefinitely with an injury in the foot he suffered in their Sunday win over the Dallas Mavericks.
After completing their largest comeback this season, in which they were down by 27 points and went on to win, the Lakers have suffered a major setback in their quest for a playoff spot as their star Lebron James has been ruled out indefinitely with a right foot injury.
According to shams, senior reporter for the Athletic, it is feared that Lebron James might miss a couple weeks on the sidelines after the injury and that this could impact the Lakers’ season going forward. The Lakers are already missing D’Angelo Russell, who missed the Dallas game and is expected to sit out the Memphis game.
Antony Davis will have to step up in Lebron’s absence to help the Lakers clinch a playoff spot as they are currently in 13th place after winning three games in a row.
