Liverpool owner John Henry revealed yesterday that the club was not for sale amid uncertainty at the club.

Liverpool are currently in 8th place in the Premier League standings as they are having a bad season due to injuries and a lack of form from their stars. Reports in December suggested that Liverpool’s club would be ready for new ownership, but owner John Henry has insisted his club is not for sale.

Speaking to the Boston Sports Journal, John Henry said they expect some investment, but the club is not for sale. “Are we selling LFC?” “No,” Henry told the Boston Sports Journal. Are you talking with investors about LFC? Yes. Will something happen there? I believe so, but it won’t be a sale.””I know there has been a lot of conversation and quotes about LFC, but I keep to the facts: we merely formalized an ongoing process,” said Henry.

Liverpool prepare to host La Liga champions Real Madrid in the round of 16 of the Champions League as they try to win at least a trophy this season with the Premier League and both domestic cups out of the picture.
