The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Phoenix Suns 128-114 in the NBA Christmas schedule.
Luka Doncic led Dallas in scoring with 50 points on 15-25 shooting while knocking down eight three-pointers in the game. Derick Jones Jr. scored 23 points, while Lively scored 20 points in the win.
For the Phoenix Suns, their stars contributed little to the attack, as Kevin Durant had an off night as he scored just 16 points on 4-11 shooting while Devin Booker scored 20 points on 6-14 shooting. Gryason Allen scored 32 points in the loss.
Speaking after the loss, Devin Booker said they lost focus as the game continued. “Poor game plan discipline. When we do what we’re supposed to do out there, it works. And then, as the game goes on, just lose focus.” He said.
