Manchester City knocked out Tottenham Hotspurs out of the FA Cup round after beating them 1-0.

On an FA Cup that was played on Friday night at Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, Oscar Bobb thought he had given the visitors the lead, but his goal was ruled offside.

In the second half, Nathan Ake scored the only goal of the game, which brought fury to Spurs players who were crying for a foul on Vicario. Tottenham Hospurs kept under pressure but could not manage to score even after James Maddison returned from injury.

Speaking after losing, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou said they can be better. “It’s not what we’re about.” We worked hard enough, but we were working at our maximum to stay in the game rather than get on top. They have eight, nine years on us. I kind of hope that people have a little bit of perspective on the team we’re trying to be. It won’t happen in six months. I don’t think City had it in six months.” He said.
