Garnacho celebrates after scoring for United

Manchester United defeated West Ham 3-1 yesterday to qualify for the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.

Fresh off winning the Carabao Cup, United were on the hunt for another trophy as they faced West Ham at Old Trafford. In the first half, David de Gea saved Antonio from opening the scoring with a good double save. In the second half, West Ham United took the lead through Benrahma to give the Hammers the lead. United leveled through a corner kick when Nayef Aguerd scored an own goal through a Fernandes corner.

The game seemed to be headed for a draw, but Alejandro Garnacho curled beautifully past Areola in the final minutes to give United the lead. Fred scored the third goal in the added minute to book a place in the quarterfinals.

Manchester United will face off against Fulham in the next round as they try to book a place at Wembley for the semi-finals.
