Manchester United continued their winless run after drawing 1-1 with Fulham.
United have started the season on the wrong foot again, as they are yet to win a Premier League game this season. After losing 1-0 to Arsenal on the opening day, Amorim’s side hoped to win against Fulham, but things proved otherwise. In a first half of limited chances, United were awarded a penalty after Mount was fouled in the box. Captain Bruno Fernandes saw his effort sail high off the crossbar. It was his first penalty miss since 2023.
In the second half, United found the breakthrough when Yoro scored a beautiful header from Mbeumo’s cross to start celebrations from the away fans. However, substitute Smith Rowe levelled things for Fulham after meeting Iwobi’s cross in the box. United kept on pushing for the winner but could not get it.
Amorim’s side are currently in 16th place in the Premier League standings with just 1 point from the two games played.
