Manchester United were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Dean Huijsen opened the scoring for the away side from a free kick, which meant United has gone six games without a clean sheet. Kepa Arrizabalaga made an outstanding save to deny Bruno Fernandes later on. Fernandes later saw his strike just sail wide off the post after being set up by Amad Diallo.United went behind at halftime.
In the second half, Amorim brought in Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho to try and turn things around. However, the task became more difficult when Mazraoui brought down Kluivert in the box and Bournemouth was awarded a penalty. The Dutchman comfortably scored to give the away side a comfortable lead. Bournemouth then added a third goal after Semenyo scored from Dango’s cutback. Garnacho was wasteful in front of goal after he was freed by Fernandes, but his shot was saved by Kepa.
Speaking after the loss, United manager Ruben Amorim said he still expects the job to be tough. ‘I always expected this job to be tough, especially in these busy months”.We are ready to face the challenge.
