Chelsea attacking midfielder and England international Mason Mount is set to earn more after agreeing to join Chelsea rivals Manchester United.
According to the Evening Standard News, Mason Mount is set to earn $316,000 weekly compared to $101,000 which Chelsea has been paying him.
Mount has agreed a 5-year contract with Manchester United having an option to extend it with one more year.
Mount began his senior football career with The Blues before he was loaned to Vitesse and Derby County between 2017-2019, before establishing himself as an integral player for Chelsea.
Mason Mount (24) has so far won the UEFA champions league, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea in 2021. He has also won Chelsea best player of the year in 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons.
His deal to Manchester United is yet to be completed but once it’s completed it will mark end of his error with his boyhood club Chelsea.
