Manchester United have agreed a deal to give Michael Carrick a permanent job as the head coach.

Carrick has revolutionised the club since taking over from Ruben Amorim earlier this season. He has won 12 games, drawn four and lost just 2 games in his 18 Premier League games in charge. He has defeated every big team he has faced this season and has been tremendous in helping the team qualify for Champions League football next season. He is now set to stay permanently, and the board is ready to give him the full backing on transfers.

The former England midfielder admitted he loved being at the club a few weeks ago. “I love being here.” “I understand the situation, and it’s a little bit out of my hands. I love being here and I love what I’m doing. I love this place. ” he said.

He has also received the backing of the players, with Diallo showing support. “Honestly, it’s not the player who decides who is going to stay here next season, but what I can say is everyone is happy to have him as manager. Everyone is with him,” he said.
