Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has heaped praise on the summer signing Bruno Guimares from Newcastle.
The gunners completed the signing of Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United for a reported £75 million. The Brazilian midfielder arrives at the Emirates with a reputation as one of the Premier League’s most complete midfielders. Guimarães is set to form a formidable midfield partnership with Declan Rice, giving Arsenal plenty of choices in midfield ahead of title defence this upcoming season.
Speaking after his unveiling, Mikel Arteta heaped praise on the Brazilian, “I’m delighted to have him. We see very clearly – especially the energy that he brought immediately to the training ground. We want to go to the next level and are very, very much convinced that we’re going to need players with such a personality, desire and character to push everybody inside the organisation to go even higher.” He said
