Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has opened up about his upcoming clash against Manchester United.
The Premier League leaders will be looking to widen the gap at the top as they welcome Manchester United at the Emirates. Arsenal failed to capitalize on City’s loss, as they were held to a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest last weekend. United defeated Manchester City 2-0 at Old Trafford last weekend in Carrick’s first game as interim manager. Arsenal won the first leg 1-0 at Old Trafford on the opening day.
Speaking on the challenge United poses to the league leaders, Arteta insisted it will be a difficult game. “We don’t know. Every game is different. At the end, the individuals are the ones that make the difference or the ones that make the game in a certain way, and we’re going to try to be ourselves, be very dominant like we always want to be, and impose the game that we want to play, and regardless of what they want to do, we want to take the game in the areas that are very good for us.” He said.
