Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has revealed he cannot say no to Chelsea amid rumours.
Chelsea have already set Moises Caicedo as their number-one transfer target this season. This comes after the departure of Ngolo Kante, Loftus Cheek, and Mateo Kovacic this summer, leaving only Enzo Fernandez as the only first-team midfielder remaining in the team.
Brighton have reportedly set a price tag of £100m for Caicedo, which has made it difficult for Chelsea to advance to the negotiation table. Chelsea, however, remain confident about sealing the transfer before the season begins.
Speaking while on holiday, Caicedo, who has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea, Said he cannot say no to the club. “It’s a big team, that’s true,” he told Maria Jose Flores when asked about Chelsea’s interest. “A very historic team, and I can’t say no, because it’s a very big, historic, beautiful team. The city itself is beautiful. It’s got everything beautiful.” He said.
