Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka is celebrating his birthday today on 5th September.
The Arsenal winger has risen to fame in recent years, becoming the star of Arsenal and also the deputy captain of the team. He made his debut under Unai Emery but played at left back before being deployed as a winger. Since then he has scored goals for Arsenal and earned his England call-up. He has played a total of 197 games for the Gunners and has scored 54 goals and 51 assists in the Premier League. He also has 18 appearances in the Champions League, where he has netted 10 goals and dished out 6 assists.In his national team for England, Saka has 12 goals in 44 appearances.
He has not won any silverware with the team, as they have lost back-to-back Euro finals to Italy and Spain, respectively. He has, however, won the 2020 FA Cup and the Community Shield twice, in 2020 and 2023. He is under contract at Arsenal after signing a four-year extension back in 2023. He is currently injured after limping off in their win against Leeds and missed the loss against Liverpool.
