Brazil national team Doctor Rodrigo Lasmar has confirmed that Neymar Jr will not be ready for the 2024 Copa America tournament.According to Lasmar Neymar will be ready to return into action on August 2024 while the Copa America tournament is scheduled to be held between June 20th and July 14th in the United States of America
“There won’t be time, it’s too early.There’s no point skipping steps to recover. Our expectation is that he will be prepared to return at the start of the 2024 European calendar, which is August”.Said Lasmar
Neymar sustained an injury during their 2026 World cup qualifier match against Uruguay on October 19th 2023.
