Thika Queens Head Coach Fred Majani has expressed his worries on his team’s lack of clinical edge in matches which has blurred their thirst of clinching the 2023 FKF-WPL title.

Speaking after his side registered a frustrating two-all-draw with Kisumu All Starlets on Saturday, Majani was bothered of how his side created a plethora of chances but failed to capitalize on them.

Losing their talisman Wendy Atieno didn’t help things either.

“We dropped important points that we were expected to pick with ease but that is football. We created a lot of chances, but the finishing touch was missing. We have to regroup now and focus on the Nakuru match which will really define our season because Nakuru is tough to beat in their backyard. Wendy’s injury continues to haunt us. We miss her leadership and predatory nature in the final third.” He stated
