Newly crowned Spanish champions Real Madrid welcomes Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu in the rematch of UEFA Champions League semi-final this evening.
The two sides settled for 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena last week on Tuesday, the winner between the two sides will face Borussia Dortmund who eliminated PSG yesterday on 2-0 goal aggregate.
This will be the 28th time in history where the two teams will be meeting, the last five meetings between the two sides Real Madrid have managed to register two wins, drawing two while loosing once in the hands of Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid will be welcoming Thibaut Courtois from his second knee injury of the season, while Dani Carvajal will be returning from a European suspension meaning that Real Madrid will only be without former Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
On the other hand Bayern Munich remains without Raphael Guerreiro who is out with an ankle injury, Kingsley Coman’s will also miss the match with groin injury while Sacha Boey, Bouna Sarr and Tarek Buchmann will also watch the second leg from the sidelines.
Real Madrid have been in fine form while playing infront of their fans at the Bernabeu. Bayern may be able to put out a near full-strength display but their defensive weakness could be vital for Real Madrid who are aiming for finals at the Wembley Stadium.
