Liverpool was knocked out of the Champions League after loosing to PSG at Anfield.

Arne Slot’s side took a slight 1-0 win in the first leg in Paris last week. PSG looked to turn the result around and did so early on through in-form star Ousmane Dembélé. Luis Enrique’s side looked a constant threat as Alisson Becker saved Dembele’s effort to keep the game level. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia wasted a glorious chance as his effort sailed off target. Konate saw his long-range effort saved by Donnarumma as Liverpool was behind at halftime.

After the break, Dominic Szoboszlai’s effort was ruled out for offside. Donnarumma was once again called into action as he saved Luis Diaz’s header from a corner kick to keep their lead. Kvaratskhelia saw his effort hit the crossbar towards the final minutes.In the extra time, PSG were the better side as Lucas Beraldo headed wide in what was the best chance of extra time.

Penalties were then taken to decide the winner.PSG scored all there penalty kicks through Vitinha, Ramos, Dembele and Doue.Liverpool scored only one through Mohammed Salah as Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones missed their kicks and Liverpool were eliminated.
