Brazilian Winger Richarlison has denied allegations linking him to the departure of Tottenham Hotspurs coach Antonio Conte.
The former Everton player stated that he respected the Italian coach and that he did not play apart nor became a mutiny leader against the tactician in ensuring that he departs from the North London club.
“I wasn’t a mutiny leader against him, it was quite the opposite. I’m sorry I didn’t deliver as much as he expected of me and I didn’t do enough for him to stay. When he left, I sent him a message thanking him for everything and wishing him the best cause that’s what he deserves!” Richarlison said
Antonio left Tottenham after poor results in the games and blaming his team players for not being aggressive after they bottled up a 3-goal lead and conceded to allow Southampton equalize all the to end the game at 3-3.
