The Eastern Conference’s top spot is still up for grabs. By thrashing the Milwaukee Bucks 140-99 on Thursday night, the Boston Celtics made a statement. 

The Celtics, who are now within two games of the Bucks for the top record in the NBA, were led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. The dynamic pair was responsible for half of Boston’s points. Tatum led all scorers with 40 points in the victory, while Brown added 30. They each made 25 out of 38 field goal attempts overall. 

For the Bucks After scoring 51 points, Jrue Holiday had a six-point performance against Boston. He only made 2 out of 8 shots from the floor. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 24 points overall and pulled down seven boards. He made 11 of his 27 field goal tries, missing all five of his 3-point attempts.
