Bandari centerback Rogers Aloro said Antony Kimani will be missed after his dismissal yesterday.

Bandari announced through social media that they had dismissed head coach Antony Kimani with immediate effect.

Speaking after his dismissal, Aloro said that things did not go well for Kimani. “I’ve played for many teams both here and abroad, and it is difficult to come across a coach who talks to players on a one-on-one basis, telling them what to rectify and how to perfect their act on the pitch,” Aloro said. “We have done everything we can. I believe the coach tried all he could to post positive results, but things just didn’t fall into place,” he continued.

AFC Leopards defeated Bandari 3-0 in a Football Kenya Federation Cup quarterfinal match on Sunday at Mbaraki Sports Club, and in the FKF standings, they are in sixth place in the rankings with 40 points after 26 games.
