The Los Angeles Clippers took a 2-1 series lead over the Denver Nuggets in the first round.

The Clippers took care of the home court advantage in their first playoff game in the new arena. Kawhi Leonard led the scoring with 21 points on 7-17 shooting while also adding another 11 rebounds. James Harden added 20 points on 6-14 shooting while also knocking down three 3-pointers. Norman Powell scored 20 points on 7-12 shooting on a clinical night.

For the Denver Nuggets, things are not looking good despite Nikola Jokic’s 23 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists triple-double. Jamal Murray scored 23 points on 8-15 shooting. However, their bench did not contribute much, as they were outscored by the Clippers bench.

In other games, the New York Knicks took a 2-1 lead against the Pistons as the OKC gained a commanding 3-0 lead against Memphis.
