England manager Thomas Tuchel has insisted that some key players cannot play together.

England has one of the deepest squads in the world, as several key players play in the several leagues. However, the problem past managers have failed to solve for the team is how to fit several star players in the team. Several key players will be left out of the World Cup squad next year, and it will not be due to the fact that they don’t deserve it.

Speaking ahead of the England game, Tuchel insisted that some key players will be left out, as they cannot play together in the system they use. “At the moment, if we keep the structure, they [Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham, and Harry Kane] cannot play [together]. Especially in the number ten position, if you think about Phil, who could play there, if you think about Jude, you think about Morgan Rogers, who played fantastically for us in this position. You have Cole Palmer, you have Morgan Gibbs-White, so there are a lot of players, and there’s the chance that we will not take everyone [to the World Cup].” He said.
