Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is set to be appointed by Bayern Munich as their new head coach.
In what came out as surprising news, reports in Germany suggested that Bayern Munich were finalizing a meeting to sack Julian Nagelesmann as their head coach after losing to Bayern Leverkusen during the weekend and in which they are fighting for the title neck and neck against Borrusia Dortmund.
According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist, former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year deal to lead Bayern Munich as the head coach after the international break. This comes just days after the Champions League draw, where Bayern Munich will host Manchester City in the quarterfinals of the competition.
Thomas Tuchel has not managed a club since his Chelsea sacking early in September after what was termed as dissagreements with Chelsea owners.
