The Minnesota Timberwolves took a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Lakers.

The Wolves are now close to the second round, as they need just one win in their next three games to go through. Antony Edwards led the scoring with 43 points on 12-23 shooting, which included 5 three-pointers. Julius Randle added another 25 points in the win on 9 of 22 shooting. Reid scored 12 points off the bench in just 19 minutes.

For the Lakers, Luka Dominic led the scoring with 38 points but did not shoot the ball very well, as he shot 13-28 from the floor, which included 5 three-pointers. LeBron James scored 27 points on just 9 shots but included 15 free throws. He was, however, scoreless in the fourth quarter. The Lakers will now host game 5 as they seek to avoid early elimination.

Antony Edwards spoke on his physical play with LeBron James. “He is a lot stronger than me, but I’m just letting him know that we’re going to be here all night, and I’m going to be a pest to him. Whenever I get on him, I’m going to try to get up under his skin… We played together in the USA. He was like a big brother to me… Just trying to be a pest to him out there.” He said.
