The Minnesota Timberwolves bounced back to even the series at 1-1 after beating the Warriors 117-93.

Julius Randle led the scoring with 24 points on 10-17 shooting from the floor. Antony Edwards scored 20 points on 6 of 13 shooting, including 2 three-pointers. Alexander Walker scored 20 points off the bench as the Wolves tied the series heading into Game 3.

For the Warriors, they were without Stephen Curry, who has a hamstring injury and is expected to miss at least one week. He is also a doubt for Game 3 and Game 4. Kumminga had 18 points off the bench on 8 of 11 shooting from the floor. Jimmy Butler added 17 points on 6 of 13 shooting. Buddy Hield added 15 points, which included four 3-pointers.

Stephen Curry issued an update on the injury and his recovery process. “Eventually there will be conversations like that. But I’m not anywhere close to that. I’m not rushing it. There has to be a natural healing process that happens… I know how tricky hamstrings can be. They can fool you into thinking they’re healed even if you don’t feel anything.” He said.
