Ahead of the first leg of the UCL quarters between Bayern Munich and Manchester City, Bayern’s tactician has revealed he is finding it hard to sleep because of the encounter.
The match is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday at 9:45 PM E.A.T- Tuchel will be locking horns with Pep Guardiola hoping for another victory. He last beat Pep in 2021, when Chelsea beat City in the Champions League final for the first of three trophies the German won in his 20 months at Stamford Bridge.
“I will try to go to bed early. I hope I will be able to sleep,” he said.
“The best preparation is sleep but sometimes it is hard to get that sleep when you’re thinking about things. This morning I woke up really early and I just decided to go to the training ground because I couldn’t get back to sleep. I just kept thinking about the match.”
