Barely weeks after Vihiga Bullets were officially relegated from the FKF-PL, the club has expressed concerns about losing their top players to the FKF-PL sides.
The Milton Kidiga led-side is hoping to get at least get some compensation fee from the players set to be lost.
“Our players have been approached. I think nearly all the 11 that start have been approached by FKF Premier League teams, and we will see what happens at the end of the season, in the past, we have been losing players to other clubs for free, but we do not want that trend to continue. Clubs that are interested in our players will have to compensate us because when we sign them, we part with money; things will have to be different this time out.”.” Kidiga stated.
Among players being linked with other clubs are Jessy Kajuba, Fredrick Ochieng, Nicholas Masamba, David Chesoli, Joeph Oyugi, Edgar Epiyayu, and Buxton Wachie.
