The 800-meter prodigy Emmanuel Wanyonyi has vowed to right his World Championships in Oregon wrongs, in Budapest, Hungary.

The former W-U20 800 meters champion, finished fourth in the World Championships in Oregon and has stated that his inexperience was the factor.

“Last year I was defeated because I lacked experience and it was also my first World Championships in the senior category. This year, I have gained more experience in the event and hope to surprise my fans this time. I’m expecting a surprise in Budapest…I can’t say what I want to achieve at the moment.” He pointed out.

Kenya will also bank on the likes of Kipng’etich Ng’eno, Ferguson Rotich, and defending champion Emmanuel Korir to clinch the event’s title.
