The World Athletics Championships is fast approaching, athletes are fine-tuning their craft to be in the best shape possible. The Spectacle is set to kick off on August 19, 2023, in Budapest, Hungary.
Cash Prizes will be up for whichever athlete breaks the World record. The athlete will receive a staggering 14 350,000 kshs for each World record courtesy of TDK and World Athletics’ new Inside Track platform. The caveat is that performances that equal the existing world record will not be eligible for a world record award.
TDK will offer the award for men’s events while the women’s world record program will be supported by World Athletics – Inside Track.
