Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr will not be punished by the club after his angry reaction in El Clásico.
The Brazilian star was substituted past the hour mark for his fellow winger Rodrygo. He was left unhappy by the substitution, especially in such a big game, and was pictured throwing hands and complaining. He did not acknowledge the coach after he came out, and he went straight into the locker room before coming back.
Speaking ahead of the La Liga fixtures during the weekend, manager Xabi Alonso confirmed he will not be punished. “Vinicius Jr will NOT be punished. The matter is closed.
