England drew 0-0 with Ghana in the second World Cup group F game played in Boston.

Thomas Tuchel’s side dominated the majority of the opening stages. Declan Rice had the first chance, but his effort went over the bar. He had another chance just minutes later, but his header went above the bar. Ghana was happy to sit back and defend and failed to have a single effort in the first half for the second consecutive game. Antony Gordon saw a tame effort for England saved by Asare late in the first half.

After the halftime break, England kept on pushing for a breakthrough goal, but Ghana kept on defending well. Bellingham saw his tame effort go just wide of the bar as frustrations kept on growing. Semenyo was then put through on goal, but Pickford came out smartly to clear the danger. Substitute Bukayo Saka forced Asare into an excellent save from his curling effort. Nico O’Reilly then hit the crossbar, and Harry Kane smashed the rebound high off the bar as both teams could not find the winner.

England and Ghana are both tied with 4 points from 2 games, while Croatia has 3 points and Panama has 0 points.
