Real Madrid have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign highly rated Ivorian winger Yan Diomande in a deal reportedly worth more than €100 million, with the final paperwork expected to be completed next week.
The Spanish giants moved quickly to secure the youngster after reaching a breakthrough in negotiations with Leipzig. Diomande has already decided that he wants to continue his career at the Santiago Bernabéu, making Real Madrid his preferred destination despite interest from other European heavyweights.
Paris Saint-Germain, who had also been monitoring the winger, have now withdrawn from negotiations, leaving Real Madrid clear to complete the transfer.
Diomande is regarded as one of the brightest attacking talents in European football, known for his pace, dribbling ability and creativity in the final third. His expected arrival would further strengthen Real Madrid’s attacking options as the club continues to invest in young stars for the future.
