Kenya Police FC are reportedly set to appoint French tactician Raphael Pilato as head coach following Nicholas Muyoti’s departure. The 2024-25 champions are winless after three FKF Premier League matches, drawing twice and losing once.
Anthony Akhulia is in charge on an interim basis and is expected to return to his assistant role once the new coach arrives.
Pilato, who holds a UEFA Pro Licence, has coached FC 105 Libreville in Gabon and KVW Zaventem in Belgium. He favours a 3-5-2 formation, possession-based play, quick transitions and aggressive counter-pressing.
