Chelsea have reached an agreement with Everton to sign midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
The 26-year-old from England will cost Everton an initial £24m with a further £3-4m and has been cleared by Chelsea to undergo the medicals, as personal terms have already been agreed upon. Hall joined Chelsea from Leicester City last season after winning the Championship together with Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca. He has, however, failed to make a breakthrough in the first team, with Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia all favoured.
The FIFA world champions have been focused on outgoings in the team and have also completed the sales of Armando Broja, who has joined Burnley, and Lesley Ugochukwu. Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi are all expected to leave the club. Chelsea will soon advance on the deal to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
