FKF President Hussein Mohammed announced CAF officials have wrapped a two-day inspection of five key Kenyan stadiums, boosting AFCON 2027 readiness as co-host with Uganda and Tanzania.

The tour, led by security head Dr. Christian Emeruwa and infrastructure expert Ms. Stephanie Totokra, scrutinized Talanta Sports City, Nyayo Stadium, Ulinzi Complex, Kasarani, and Police Sacco for safety, security, and upgrades. Mohammed hailed it as proof of FKF and government’s drive to modernize facilities for the tournament and beyond.

Talanta Sports City—soon Raila Odinga International Stadium—nears 85% completion with final interiors. Kasarani shuts for Phase Two pitch revamp, while Nyayo pauses post-rugby sevens for canopy and media upgrades.
