Manchester United drew 2-2 with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League played on Friday evening.
It was a first half, full of chances for both teams. Amad Diallo saw his powerful effort pushed away by Petrovic early on. Rayan saw his effort, on the other hand, go wide off target. Bruno Fernandes then saw his long-range effort saved by Petrovic. Petrovic was called into action once again to deny Bruno Fernandes from close range. Lammens then swayed off Rayan’s curling strike heading into the half-time break.
In the second half, United were awarded a penalty kick when Jimenez pulled Cunha in the box. Bruno Fernandes stood to comfortably slot the ball in. Bournemouth wasted no time, and minutes later, Ryan Christie levelled the scoring. United’s lead was restored when Fernandes’s corner was diverted by Hill into his own net. More drama was witnessed when Harry Maguire was sent off after pulling Evanilson in the penalty box. Junior Kroupi comfortably slotted the ball in from the penalty spot.
Neither of the teams managed to get the winner.
