Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season.

The Portuguese midfielder joined the club in 2017 from Monaco and has gone on to make 451 appearances in all competitions. He has won 19 major trophies in his time at the club, including six Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, the Super Cup, two FA Cups and five Carabao Cups. He has scored 76 goals to go alongside his 77 assists in all competitions.

Silva took to his social media pages to confirm the departure. “To the club, to Pep, to the coaching staff, and to all my teammates over these 9 years, thank you for all the memories and for allowing me to be part of this journey for so long,” the player wrote. “Let’s enjoy these final weeks together and fight for what remains of this season.” He said.
