Chelsea defeated Leeds United 1-0 in the FA Cup semi-finals played at Wembley Stadium.

The Blues looked to book another final, especially after sacking head coach Liam Rosenior. Leeds United started on the front foot and had a fantastic free kick right after kick-off. Tanaka stood up, but his effort went over the bar. Joao Pedro had a glorious chance to open the score, but his effort went just wide. Aaronson had a glorious chance for Leeds, but Robert Sanchez denied him. Enzo Fernandez then opened the scoring for Chelsea after meeting Pedro Neto’s cross and heading the ball in the net. Joao Pedro was set up by Enzo, but his effort hit the crossbar.

In the second half, Leeds were on top again, and Sanchez was called into action again to deny substitute Stach from levelling. Joao Pedro failed to make a clean connection from six yards as Leeds survived again. Calvert Lewin had a glorious chance, but his header went straight at Sanchez. Chelsea managed to hold on to the win and book a final against Manchester City.
