Inter defeated Benfica 5-3 on aggregate to go to the Champions League semifinals, setting up a tantalizing derby matchup with AC Milan.

It took Inter less than 15 minutes to push their overall lead to 3-0. Nicolo Barella effectively ended the tie by cutting inside of his defender in the box and curling a stunning shot into the top corner. In the second half, Fredrik Aursnes capitalized on a Rafa Silva cross to head the ball past Andre Onana and give Benfica some hope. However, shortly after the hour mark, Inter added another goal from close range through Lautaro Martinez to make the score 4-1 overall. Then, Joaquin Correa scored his own goal shortly after coming off the bench to make it even worse for Benfica.

Inter Milan will now face off against archrivals AC Milan in the semifinals of the Champions League.
