Arsenal has submitted an offer for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.
The England international Noni Madueke has fallen down the picking orders at Enzo Maresca’s side and has started only one game during the Club World Cup in the USA. Madueke had played 92 times for Chelsea since joining them from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 and scored 20 goals. The arrival of Pedro Neto from Wolves last season and Joao Pedro and Liam Delap this summer has made it difficult for Madueke. It is believed that Arsenal has submitted an opening bid of £50m plus add-ons to Chelsea.
The Blues are expected to reject the bid, as they insist on an important fee, plus they are also happy to keep the winger. Madueke has already agreed to personal terms with Arsenal on a 5-year contract. Earlier this season, Enzo Maresca insisted that players who are not happy with their role can leave the club.
