Bruno Fernandes was unhappy with the referees after Manchester United’s 2-0 loss to Spurs.
Manchester United were defeated 2-0 by the Tottenham Hotspurs over the weekend. United thought they were harshly denied a penalty in the first half when Romero appeared to have handled the ball, but VAR did not award the penalty.
During the first game of the season against the Wolves, referees denied the Wolves a penalty late in the game, and they came to apologise after the full-time whistle.
Bruno Fernandes spoke after the game and said he expected referees to come out and apologise to the United squad. “Last week they made a big thing about United not having a penalty against them [the Wolves].” “I want to see what’s going to happen this week if it’s going to happen the same way they did last week.” I want to see if Jon Moss also comes to apologise to our dressing room like they said he did to the manager of the Wolves.” He said.
