English premier league side Chelsea FC has completed the singing of defensive midfielder Romeo Lavia from championship side Southampton.
The Belgium international has signed a seven-year contract with the blues after completing his medical tests.
The 19-year-old was targeted by Liverpool but he turned down their offer in favor of Chelsea move, Lavia will wear jersey number 45.
After completing his move to Chelsea in a deal worth £58m,Lavia said that, “I’m happy to join Chelsea and be part of this exciting project, amazing top club with a great history and I’m really excited to get started.”
