Chelsea co-owner Todd Bohely reportedly called Chelsea’s season an embarrassment after Saturday’s loss to Brighton.

The Blues are still stuck in the bottom half of the Premier League standings after having already fired managers Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter this year. In addition to being 2-0 down on aggregate against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals, they had only 10 wins and 12 losses in the English premier league this season.

According to The Telegraph, Boehly visited the locker room after his team’s 2-1 loss to Brighton to deliver his warning. He waited until Lampard had finished his post-game analysis before interjecting, reminding Chelsea’s team that they may still save their season by mounting an inspiring comeback against Real on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge. An alleged altercation with a group of Blues fans after the final whistle was reported.
