Chelsea have now set a fixed price of £37 million for Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgium striker struggled last season to get a club to play for, as many clubs were not interested in paying his wages. His Juventus move failed after Chelsea refused to add Lukaku for Vlahovic. Chelsea reached an agreement with several Saudi clubs, but Lukaku was not interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.

He ended up moving to As Roma on the verge of a transfer window closure on loan until 2024. He has enjoyed a great start to life in Roma, where he has already scored seven goals under Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to part ways with the striker on a permanent basis and have set a fee of £37 million for anyone interested in him in June 2024.
