Liverpool drew 2-2 with Brighton on Sunday evening in the Premier League.

Brighton took the lead after 20 minutes through Simon Adingra when he pounced on a bad pass from Van Dijk and slotted home. Mohammed Salah levelled the scores minutes later before giving Liverpool the second goal through a penalty kick.

In the second half, Lewis Dunk scored the second goal for Brighton in the final minutes to give them a draw. Liverpool will feel that Brighton should have gotten a red card for the Pasacl Gross challenge on Dominik Szoboszlai.

Speaking on the incident, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp refused to hit out at the VAR. “I saw it was a penalty and didn’t think about red, but I heard now it is about scoring opportunities.” If it is a goalscoring opportunity, we can ask the question here: What do you think? Was it a goalscoring opportunity? Hands up. I didn’t see it back.” He said.
