Derrick Otanga, FKF-PL 2021-22 golden boot winner has admitted that he has gotten a plethora of interest from FKF-PL clubs after partying ways with his former Libyan club, Al-Ittihad Misrata SC.
Barely four months after joining Al-Ittihad, Otanga is now a free agent and he is eyeing a move locally or outside the country.
“I have no problem playing in KPL or outside the country. For me, the goal is to be back enjoying what I love most: playing football. I want to play week in week out again, so I want my future sorted as soon as possible,” he said
Regarding his next club, Otanga put his cards on the chest but assured he would soon finalize a move.
“Teams from in and outside the country have already reached out and I can say we are in talks and at this point, I do not want to go into many details. Nothing has been agreed on yet but there is progress and in the next few days or weeks I will make my next home known but there is nothing much to talk about,” he added.
